Having a cultural centre in the heart of the barren Maggia valley, a meeting-place for artists with international participation and influence? Is this possible? A dream! And the dream is fast becoming a reality. In this era of the World Wide Web any place, no matter where, can become ‘local’. A cultural centre is a place where dreams of peaceful living and working together by people of all nations have become a reality. For this to happen in Peccia is the wish of the canton Ticino, the Lavizzara community and the enthusiastic idealists and artist couple Almute and Alex Naef-Grossmann in Peccia. Fantastic!
